For 14 intense competition days following the Opening Ceremony on 13 August 2022 you can meet the world’s top female pilots, watch the mass launch of up to 100 gliders and follow them on live race tracking.
It’s a family day out with fun gliding-related activities for all ages, air and ground displays and street food stalls.

Volunteer with WWGC2022
There are many opportunities for you to volunteer your skills or learn new skills as a volunteer Championship-Maker as part of the WWGC2022 team. Experts are helping with parts of the project, but we also have roles for apprentices that want to learn and develop and we’ve got apprentices training in the skills needed to run a competition. Grow with us as a Championship-Maker!
