Day Thirteen

Hugs all round on the final day of racing here at the Women’s World Champs! The day started off with low developing cu’s but gradually the cloud base raised high enough to make cross country flying feasible. With tight points in all three classes, everything was to play for today. The first sector everyone managed to go deep into but the second sector caught a lot of pilots out. The tops of the cu’s began spreading and the lift turned off, half the field landed out, but those who made it back had really big gains on the leaderboard. AeroSPARX finished the night out right with an amazing aerobatic, pyrotechnic display here at the Gliding Centre.
