Bad weather has scrubbed our last two days of flying. Instead the pilots participated in welly wanging – a british tradition of throwing a wellington boot (rain boot/ gumboot) as far as possible, the German team came out on top with good consistency. The tow pilots invited a few competitors and crews on a fly in for a curry at Leicester airport. Friday is the final day of competition and weather is looking hopeful for one last task. Evening celebrations will be hosted at The Gliding Centre with an airborne pyrotechnic display by AeroSPARX,
