Final day of practice rating was hot and blue yet again. Pilots used this as final training to get familiar with the local airspace and the new PEV start process. The lift wasn’t so great to begin with at 3000 but later on in the race it developed up to 5200 and there were even some cu’s on the last leg. Scrutineering for the final arrivals was completed, safety briefing and welcome drinks hosted by The Gliding Centre. The pilots get a rest day tomorrow for Opening Ceremony before racing kicks off on Sunday.
