HusBos has been buzzing with activity. The pilots flew their second unofficial practice task day, with a three hour window of high, strong cu’s they were set a 218km average AAT to get a feeling of the area. Meanwhile local children were invited to the town hall to learn about gliders, they helped to rig a glider in the field and then practiced flying in a flight simulator. Rob from Aerosparx gave a presentation on his pyrotechnic aerobatic display flying then the children built their own gliders and parachutes with volunteers from The Gliding Centre.
